You’re not alone.

Tomorrow doesn’t have to be like today.

Small changes can make huge impacts.

And, you are stronger than you know.

Every big journey starts with a single step towards the unknown.

But, making that first step can feel scary, uncomfortable, and sometimes even impossible.

I’m here to hold a safe space for you to explore the possibilities.

I’ll teach you skills to prepare you and increase your chance of success.

And, I’ll listen to and support you through it all.

Take the first step towards change, and a stronger you, by contacting me today to schedule your own video counseling sessions.

Your time and your health are valuable. Your therapy sessions can fit into your life, where you are in the moment.

No more wasted time sitting in traffic. You don’t have to leave home.

Concerns about location accessibility, chemical sensitivities, or exposure for the immunocompromised are things of the past. Your video counseling session will be in an environment you control.

I use an online telehealth counseling platform to provide secure (HIPAA-compliant) face-to-face video counseling sessions online.

Each session is protected and confidential. And, because they’re all online, there is no risk anyone will see you coming or going from an office.

I send you a secure and private link via e-mail which gives you (and only you) the ability to connect by video for your scheduled appointment.

For Online Video Counseling You Need:

  • A secure internet connection
  • A computer, tablet, or smartphone with a working microphone and video capability
  • A quiet, private, and well-lit space with no distractions
  • I also recommend you have a set of headphones or earbuds for your own privacy, especially if you share space with others.

What has happened to bring you to this point? What has influenced you and the coping strategies you have learned?

You are more than this moment in time or the sum of your experiences.

Trauma-informed therapy means I see you within the larger context of your life. I use that as a framework for empathy-focused and strengths-based counseling as I help you work through the consequences of toxic stress or trauma.

Most people have a history that includes some form of trauma, whether it is emotional, physical, or another form.  Those experiences can play a role in your health, learned behaviors, and relationships.

Trauma causes feelings of fear, overwhelm, and violation.

Learning ways to adapt and survive during a crisis is a sign of your strength. But sometimes those strategies you’ve developed during trauma holds you back or harms your relationships afterward.

I help you build on that strength by working with you to identify what role trauma has played in your life. With that understanding, I will support and empower you through video counseling sessions in learning new approaches that can serve you better today.
